Well I Guess It's Official...

I've officially left the Wizard101 fandom, and WIZARD101. And unlike last time, I haven't been on Wizard101 for a month, so thats how I can tell it's over. I thank you all for the wonderful 3 years everyone's gave me. I don't hate wizard101, or anyone there, my interests have simply changed, as they usually do after three years. I want to pursue in writing, and now I'm reading differently, (more realistic fiction, then fantasy) but I'm still reading Sister's Grimm, Harry Potter, and Septimus Heap.

I love my new school, and because of that I've been busy. Heck this week, I had three rehearsals alone for show choir, (our christmas concert is this Sunday)and I love it. Making new friends, and enjoying my school might be one of the reason's why my interests changed.

I also found more love in dancing, so I'm going more days a week, plus I want to continue my other interests, so I'm busy juggling all that, plus being a Girl scout.

I also found myself shopping more, and spending time with real friends, instead of one's on the internet.

So I wish you all well, and as I leave I hope you follow these two words that I do.

Carpe Diem!
(Seize the Day!)

Let's Do the Time Warp Again!!

God has it really been 3 weeks since I last went blogging, AND on Wizard101?
I guess it has...

Well I've been busy..

Oh, I also deactivated my Twitter Account.

Why? You ask

BECAUSE I'M BUSY!

Oh my Halloween was great by the way. I was an EXIT sign, and walked a mile in my friends rich neighborhood, and brought home a LOAD of candy.

I just got back from my volleyball game, where we had NO SUBS, and the other team had THREE, and we STILL WON!

I need to go on Wizard101 soon, when I find the time.

Oh, I'm also obsessed with the Rocky Horror Picture Show. (Hence the title)

It took me 3 days to write this post.

Oh yeah BREAKING NEWS!

I got my songs for my summer dance recital in Modern and Jazz!

Jazz is Disturbia

And Modern is...

*drumroll*

THE HARRY POTTER THEME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Isn't it jibberifically amazing!

Well ending this on a positive note, I'm gonna say: BYE!

P.S. The Glee Episode was AWESOME tonight!

Halloween, Real Life, and A few words on Celestia

Yo!

God has it really been two weeks since my last post?

I'm sorry, I'm a terrible blogger :(

Halloween is here!
Thank GOD!

I'm GOING to get a spider pet this year, I AM!

Also, I've been busy IRL too. Look at my schedule:

Monday: Field Hockey from 3:30 to 5, go straight to dance from 6-7
Tuesday: Show Choir from 3:30 to 4:15, go straight to dance from 5:45 to 8, watch Glee Afterwards
Wednesday: Dance from 8:15-9
Thursday: Volleyball practice from 4:00 to 5:30 and Dance from 7:15-8 and then I watch the Office and Outsourced
Friday: A Mixer, or something else.

I'M A BUSY GIRL!

Also I find Celestia exciting and cool... but SO CONFUSING!! AHHH! I feel like Brittany from Glee.. She finds Recipes confusing, as I find Celestia confusing. I STILL can't find the new schools!!
Ya, I'm stupid, don't rub it in. :(

Worldwide Day Of Play

Today, according to my Nickelodeon viewings, is the world wide day of play. I'll be blunt to you webites when I tell you it means "GET OFF THE COMPUTER, AND PLAY!"

Sooo, in the afternoon, Nickelodeon will go off air, and that means, to not change the channel, but get off the stinkin couch, and PLAY! Now today, I'm planning on dancing in my new dance studio, practicing volleyball, going to the mall, with my new friend Gabby, And I also have a field hockey game, and an hour later, I have a volleyball game.

So as you see, I'm going to be very active today, and I'm encouraging you, to be active too!

This is Amber StarGem, signing off to go outside and play.

Back again

Hey!
It is true, that the Myth Master is back again. And that means?
Yes! I am back too.
Not neccessarily, seeing as I had my own small blogs, but I guess it just wasn't as fun as the Myth Master, yeah?
I am glad to be back, with Amber. Seeing as we keep in touch but don't go to the same school anymore *tear*. But that is fine, we're still besties.
Wizard101 related:

I HAVE GOTTEN INTO THE EPIC SPIRIT OF PETS.

Me using the word 'epic' and all caps shows the seriousness in this sentence, yeah?
Okay, at first, you might have heard me say bad things about the pets. True, I still do not like Derby etc., but the new pets you can make are just plain AWESOME.
I got into this spirit because my good friend Sam told me how to hatch a pet. Turns out I could make two VERY cool pets with just my stormzilla and wraith. The catch: They had to be adults.
I worked very hard and I DID make them adults believe it or not.

Yep! Then I got some cash and hatched. What happened?

Grimzilla

Tempest

Awesome right?
If you're someone who likes to hatch, here are some tips:
1. To find out what your pet is early, go to the dye show and under 'rename' for pets, it shows what your pets are.
2. For stormzilla + wraith = necromantic egg is the Tempest pet.
3. For stormzilla + wraith = stormsquall egg is the Grimzilla pet.

I think they're really cool.
All there's left to do is to decide who gets what pet. Any ideas?

Glad to be back,
Van

Blog Update Numero Uno

HI Everybody!

Happy Sunday!

Erm... I haven't blogged in like 3 months, so here's my best shot....

Here's how the Myth Master's weekly blog layout is going to be like.

Monday-Friday= Numerous Musings, Song Lyrics, etc. by me
Saturday= A bit of a regular size, random post, that can be about almost ANYTHING
Sunday= A Blog/Wizard101 Update

So let's start first with Blog Updates.
Ok, so in case your blind, I changed my template, and with that I added an Ipod that you can listen to if you want. To listen to, just click on the play button. (It's always on shuffle btw) I also might add some new blogs, take away old ones, I don't even go to anymore. But please don't ask me to put your blog on here. I won't, because I only put my closest friends on here. Got it?
Good.

Wizard101 Updates:
Well, unless you've been under a rock, you should know that the Test Realm is up, with Selena Gomez.
Whoopie
Just to be frank, I'd rather have Taylor Swift, or Lady Gaga. But out of all the disney stars, she would be best... I guess.
I mean, I did the quest, but I thought she sounded to snobby. I mean every other sentence she mentioned her CD release. Who does that??

Ok, so now that I mentioned Lady Gaga, I'm imagining the quest with her in it. It would be SO COOL! She could wear a different outfit each time, and at the end, she sings Just Dance, with the crabs in the white Bad Romance costumes. How awesome would that be?
Very, I know.

And for Taylor Swift, she could sing Love Story, in a pretty dress, with rainbows, and unicorns shooting out of the sky.

Um.. I think I like Lady Gaga's world better. (No offense Taylor)

Ok, One more thing before I sign off.

What I need in this blog is feedback. Do you love my new Ipod feature, hate it? Like my Lady Gaga World, wanna strangle it?
Tell Me, please, cause with your feedback, I can make this blog better.

Cya!!

-Amber StarGem
(Or Mystery Jellyfish, if you want)

UPDATE: Here are some of the costumes I would like to see Lady Gaga in Wizard101 wear:

Yes, I know it's the glee members, but I like all their costumes..

A Moment of Silence Please...

Today is the day, that two of the most famous buildings were gone.
Today is the day that 2,996 people died.
Do you know that's around more then the death toll of the Titanic?
Every single passenger on each plane died.
Every. Single. One.
How would you feel, that you would never see your family again, is you were going on a plane that was hijacked?
Around 400 medical workers DIED trying to save people.
Some probably sacrificed themselves to let another person live
Today is the day that over 2,996 families, got a hole in their heart.
Let us have a moment of silence please

And in the streets: the children screamed,
The lovers cried, and the poets dreamed.
But not a word was spoken;
The church bells all were broken.
And the three men I admire most:
The father, son, and the holy ghost,
They caught the last train for the coast
The day the music died.

The Middle

Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on
Just try your best, try everything you can
And don't you worry what they tell themselves when you're away

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

Hey, you know they're all the same
You know you're doing better on your own, so don't buy in
Live right now, yeah, just be yourself
It doesn't matter if it's good enough for someone else

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

Hey, don't write yourself off yet
It's only in your head you feel left out or looked down on
Just do your best, do everything you can
And don't you worry what the bitter hearts are gonna say

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

It just takes some time
Little girl you're in the middle of the ride
Everything, everything will be just fine
Everything, everything will be alright, alright

I heard this song on my 30 minute ride to school today, and I thought the lyrics remind of that everything will be alright if you fail a test, or get a bad grade, or do anything else bad. :)

A Thousand Miles

Making my way downtown
Walking fast
Faces pass
And I'm home bound

Staring blankly ahead
Just making my way
Making a way
Through the crowd

And I need you
And I miss you
And now I wonder....

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
Tonight

It's always times like these
When I think of you
And I wonder
If you ever
Think of me

'Cause everything's so wrong
And I don't belong
Living in your
Precious memories

'Cause I need you
And I miss you
And now I wonder....

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
Tonight

And I, I
Don't want to let you know
I, I
Drown in your memory
I, I
Don't want to let this go
I, I
Don't....

Making my way downtown
Walking fast
Faces pass
And I'm home bound

Staring blankly ahead
Just making my way
Making a way
Through the crowd

And I still need you
And I still miss you
And now I wonder....

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass us by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you...

If I could fall
Into the sky
Do you think time
Would pass me by
'Cause you know I'd walk
A thousand miles
If I could
Just see you
If I could
Just hold you
Tonight

I love this song... how bout you?

I Can Tell That We're Going To Be Friends

Fall is here,hear the yell
back to school,ring the bell
brand new shoes,walking blues
climb the fence,books and pens
I can tell that we're going to be friends

Walk with me,Suzy Lee
through the park and by the tree
we will rest upon the ground
and look at all the bugs we found
then safely walk to school
without a sound

Well here we are,no one else
we walked to school all by ourselves
there's dirt on our uniforms
from chasing all the ants and worms
we clean up and now its time to learn

Numbers,letters,learn to spell
nouns,and books,and show and tell
at playtime we will throw the ball
back to class,through the hall
teacher marks our height
against the wall

And we don't notice any time pass
we don't notice anything
we sit side by side in every class
teacher thinks that I sound funny
but she likes the way you sing

Tonight I'll dream while I'm in bed
when silly thoughts go through my head
about the bugs and alphbet
and when I wake tommorow I'll bet
that you and I will walk together again
cause I can tell that we're going to be friends

Just a little peaceful song I found.

Such Great Heights

I am thinking it's a sign
That the freckles in our eyes are mirror images
And when we kiss they're perfectly aligned
I have to speculate
That God himself did make
Us into corresponding shapes
Like puzzle pieces from the clay

True, it may seem like a stretch
But its thoughts like this that catch
My troubled head when you're away
When I am missing you to death
When you are out there on the road
For several weeks it shows
And when you scan the radio
I hope this song will guide you home

They won't see us waving from such great heights,
"Come down now", they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away,
"Come down now", but we'll stay...

I tried my best to leave
This all on your machine
But the persistent beat it sounded thin
Upon listening
And that frankly will not fly
You will hear the shrillest highs
And lowest lows with the windows down
When this is guiding you home

They won't see us waving from such great heights,
"Come down now", they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
"Come down now", but we'll stay...

They won't see us waving from such great heights,
"Come down now", they'll say
But everything looks perfect from far away
"Come down now", but we'll stay...

(They won't see us waving from such great heights,
"Come down now", they'll say
They won't see us waving from such great heights)

Interesting lyrics, don't you think?

Momma's Back!

That's right! The Myth Master is back....
Posting once a month!
I'm sorry but it's true! Here's how my schedule is this year:
Monday: Field Hockey Practice
Tuesday: Show Choir and Dance
Wednesday: Dance
Thursday: Volleyball, and Dance
Friday: Nothing

So as you see I'm very busy. I'm taking 7 dance classes, and I have to juggle sports, show choir, and plays with it too.

So anyways, next week, I'll be starting the first monthly post! I hope that you enjoy it, and I'm hoping to add Wizard101 into it too, but its hard, because Celestia is taking a long time, and being a grand master us getting boring. (Remember I've been one for over a year!) So I'm going to stay here and scan the radio till I find a song I like!
First One: Be Alright (never heard of it NEXT!)
Second One: Bed rock (HATE THAT SONG!)
Third One: Half of my Heart (eh it's ok... NEXT)
Fourth One: Here I am (nah)
Fifth One: Your Ex Lover is Dead (FINALLY)

I admit, I put on a Cd I made to end it...

Cya!

Goodbye!

(click to enlarge)
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

Goodbye all,

I'm leaving the blogsphere. Forever. I'm leaving this blog up for a week, then deleting it. I had a fun time with you all, but I have to leave. My best blogging friend, Allan Dragonhammer, quit today too. We started around the same time, and I think it's fitting we both leave at the same time.

Why am I leaving?

I'm just not into it anymore. I find it a chore to blog, and I just don't have the heart to do it anymore. I'm still playing Wizard101, but leaving blogging for real this time.

Bill Watterson, who did the fabulous comic strip Calvin and Hobbes, quit after 10 years. Yet his legacy lived on, because the strip never became boring. So that's what I'm doing, blogging wise. I hope you understand, and thank you all, for the wonderful memories I've had over the past year blogging.

As they said at the very last strip of Calvin and Hobbes:

It's a Magical World Hobbes ole' buddy,
Let's go exploring!!

This is Amber StarGem, signing off forever.

Taking another Sabbicle

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

Hi all,

I'm taking another sabbicle from blogging. This time it's longer. How long you might ask??

3 weeks

So I'm only going to be posting 1 or 2 times during this. But I don't see why, no one reads this blog anyway...

I'm also not going to be on twitter, at all, and hardly going on Wizard101.

I have a simple reason.

It's summer. I'd rather spend summer outside, relaxing and reading, then being pressured to go on a game, that's REALLY getting boring, in a dark room, talking to strangers. Ok?? I hope you understand. Please, oh please, don't delete me from your bloglist. I'll be back in 3 weeks!!

Cya in 3 weeks,

The Stargem's: A History.

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

"Ok everyone! Gather round!" Amber yelled.

Bloggers, friends, and Amber's story people gathered around her.

"Have you guys ever wondered, where me and Calamity, our family comes from?"

Most nodded, some were still stunned.

"The Stargems, are a rich family, in the history. Most of the ghosts, in Dragonspyre, are StarGem's ancestors. My mom, and dad lived in Dragonspyre, before Malistaire came. My mom was in myth, my dad in fire. Mom fought dragons, and dad ran the robe store." Amber said, passing around a photo of a lady, wearing armor, with black spiky hair, and a man, with bright red hair.

"Then I was born, and raised in Dragonspyre, until I was 10. By then, Malistaire came, and there was explosions, where we hid in the shelter. Also by then, I had 3 sisters, and mom was pregnant, with twins. I bid farewell to my sisters, and parents. I was entering the school of myth, to the joy of my mom, and when I left, she gave me a bag, that was for "When I was in grave danger." My father tried to sneak a sword in my bag, but caught by Cyrus, who always hated him. Years past,and I got letters from my mom, telling of the explosions becoming more frequent. One time, I went to visit, I was in Marleybone at the time, and I was shocked." she spoke.

"My family home was in ruins. A deputy chief was inspecting it, saying it had just happened, a bomb fell nearby it. Ignoring his shouts, I ran into the smoldering house, catching burns. I searched, but all I couldn't find my parents. I then heard crying, and then I saw Calamity, who was 4 at the time, crying behind her bed. She sobbed, telling me, how "mommy, and daddy" tried to save all of us, including them, but failed. She said, that "evil men" went, and took all the children away, and the only one's she could save was her, and my two year old sister Scarlet." Amber told them, wiping a tear from her eye.

"I gave Scarlet to foster care, and met up with her a few months back. Calamity stayed at my house, until she got her own, a year ago. It was hard, caring for another girl, but I managed. For my parents, they died, along with a sister a year younger, who was sickly a ton. They tore down my family house, and I have a few things I salvaged, from the fire. Sometimes, I see their ghosts, in Dragonspyre. They tell me, that most people who are ghosts, have gone evil, but they won't. They also tell me to say strong, care for my sisters, (when I find all of them) and the only way I can survive, as long as they did, when evil lurks, is to have trust in friends, and siblings." she finished up.

MYTH MASTER IS NOW A YEAR OLD BABY!

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

Yup, you heard it. The Myth Master started on May 28th, 2009. Yes, I have been blogging longer then you think, right?? Also, today is my 190th post too. Times have gone by so fast haven't they?

Here's my VERY first post, which no one commented on, because I didn't have it on anyone's blogroll, entitled:Hello and Welcome

Hello and Welcome to the Myth Master! I post this daily and will try to get many people to visit this site. I play Wizard 101 and I am in Dragonspyre as a master in myth. My second school is death and storm. I mostly visit the Friendly Necromacer and West Karana. I hope you like this site and visit this often.
Bye!

Happy Questing!

*facepalm* Please, don't look at the horror. Several things happened in this:

1: I did NOT post everyday. In fact I think I'm the least posting blogger.
2: It's garbage.

It IS I SWEAR!

Anyways, things have changed a ton, I put on a quitting scare, celebrated Halloween, and Christmas with ya'll. Before I go I would like to thank a few people in no paticular order, for being such great friends or helping me out:

-Alia LotusPetal
-Jessica Fairyheart
-Kestrel Shadowthistle
-Thomas Lionblood
-Ronan Ravenshard
-Malorn Willowsmith
-Cassandra Griffindreamer
-Autumn Duskhunter
-Allan Dragonshard
-Christina Griffin
-Jessica Rosesong
And of course,
-Samantha ThunderShield, we've been best friends since last July, and Angel UnicornBreath, we've been friends for MORE then a year.

That's it right?

OF COURSE %$^$% NOT!

I'd like to thanks my B.F.F., partner in crime, and caring frienemie:

VANESSA SUNRIDER!

Thanks everyone for a great year, let the next be even greater then this one.

Lots of Love,

Just a Little Pic..

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

This is a picture, that my mother took, of my tap class for the rehearsal. To avoid identity theft, I blacked out the heads, but aren't the costumes pretty? It's for the song Devil With the Blue Dress.

That's it,

YAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

From the Myth Master's ... whatever it said ...
YAYYY!!!!!!!!!!
Why are you so excited? Because I finally found my lost book!!
Big whoop. No, no, voice in my head, it is a big whoop because this book happens to be The Last Olympian, signed by the author, Rick Riordan.
If you are a passionate Percy Jackson and the Olympian reader like I am, you will find the joy of this discovery :D
How did we get it signed? Riordan came to St. Louis last year for a special speech and book signing. So many people came the line wrapped around the whole library. We were all waiting for at least 2 or 3 hours, but it was so worth it. Luckily, everyone got inside before it started pouring down rain.
He's extremely funny even in real life, and this was of course before the Red Pyramid was out, so he told everyone about that.
Then he signed our book.
But, one day this year, I was looking to read it for the tenth billion time, when I go to my bookshelf, and it isn't there. At first, I'm slightly worried, but then I absolutely can't find it. I pretty much tear my room apart looking for the book. I love the series so much, and that book is pretty awesome.
Where was it? At my school, in the library.
At first, the librarian called, a woman whom I dispise. I was like "What?" when she told me my book was at the library.
But then I understood. We let her borrow it for some book display once, and I guess she never gave it back ..
That evil fiend. She kept it for over a year
Humph. Well, all that matters is that I got it back(:
:D!
Well here are some pics from the signing ...

Before he signed books, Riordan talked for a while about the series and what was next. So many people attended some were in the room he was speaking in, and some had to stay in a room off of that and watch on a screen.

Riordan, signing our book.

Group 11!

Anyone who likes this series, tell me, because I love them! I remember getting the first book about a week after it came out, and instantly I fell in love with it. I convinced Amber to read it after a while, and the rest, as they say, is history.
It's been a while since that first one came out, like 2 or 3 years?
Wow, it really doesn't seem that long.
He wrote 5 books with that series and is working on the Red Pyramid now. Riordan is such an amazing author.
There's even a movie. Also tell me if you've read the book and seen the movie, what did you think? I personally thought a lot of it was wrong, but Hollywood never does an amazing job of making it perfectly like the book. It actually was pretty funny, and I loved how Grover was a gangsta.
The dude who plays him is a rapper in real life xD
But the effects were really good. They left out a lot and added a lot ... but it possibly could have been worse. I'll see the next one of course, because I am simply a die-hard fan.
One part that sucked about the movie is that they didn't do the part where they partially blew up the arch. I mean, come on! I just happen to live by it, and do they put it in the movie? Nope. It would have been insanely awesome though if they came to St. Louis and filmed it there. I would have gone to watch.
Have a great rest of your week, take a risk, and read a book for me.
Ciao,
Vanessa Sunrider

Summer(:

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
Summer!
Starting with summer.
It's been awesome so far!
It's realllllllyy hot outside though, so that kind of sucks. But that's okay I don't really care. You know you're in my neighborhood when everyone is shoeless.
Plus, for some really weird reason, these elementary school kids are like suddenly obsessed with rollerblading... I mean you can't even go outside without seeing a kid rollerblading.
I mean, what the heck? I have no idea how that got started, but I guess it was one of those things that just happened without saying anything.
Anyway, on the first day of summer (Well, not technically but whatever) I painted my nails. I know, epic, but it was just the perfect day.

Isn't that pretty cool?
It's this green-ish with sparkles(: lol. My sis did my nails because 1. She's awesome at it and 2. I paint hers she paints mine, that's just how it works.
Soo anyway, after my nails dried, I painted my little neighbor's nails too. They're in 3rd and 1st grade, so cute, and I babysit them. We're like dis *crosses fingers* and I'm like they're best friend and role model. It's so funny :D
After that, we blow bubbles. I don't just go it because they want to, it's because I LOVE BUBBLES :D Remember, Amber, when we blew bubbles? xD
Then I took them to the pond by my house and we caught tadpoles. It was fun, just scooping out dirty pond water with your bear hands and catching the little tadpoles.
Then we had pudding xD
But the next day was a LOT more interesting. My cousin Rose and her brothers came over, and Rose and I are like dis *Crosses fingers*
So we come up with an idea (Amber, remember? lol).. we play this arrow game, that you guys should try sometime. One team of people hide somewhere in the neighborhood, leaving arrows showing where they are. We also played where you can write riddles.
So my sister and cousin Louis hid, and Rose and I went to find them.
We pretty much lost them for like 2 hours.
We couldn't find them because first their arrows pointed to the sewer.
I was like "No way."
And then I stooped down and was like "Hello ... hello ... hello??"
Rose was like "Dude, they're not down there."
So we finally find more arrows, but it takes a while. After the longest trip around the neighborhood following tons of arrows, we find them.
Behind some bushes.
I bet our neighbors are like ... "HUH?!" Because we left a ton of arrows and riddles all around.
That's just us.
Naturally weird.
so this was a weird post.
Laterzz

Van
P.S.: Sorry if you dont like this post. It was incoheriant, SORRY D:

I'm feeling like a star, you can't stop my shine
I'm loving cloud nine, my head's in the sky
I'm solo,
I'm ridin' solo,
I'm ridin' solo,
I'm ridin' solo
Soloo
-Solo Jason Derulo.
If you haven't heard that song, look it up. It's my song of the day. It just makes me happy.
Anyway, it's the last day of school, and I can't even believe I made it through the year. It's true, at the service at the end of the day I was crying for Amber.
I was hugging her and walking at the same time, and this dude Ethan is like "Oh my God."
And I'm just like "Shut up, Ethan."
And he's just like "No, you shut up."
Then I'm like "No, you shut up."
LOL, but I'm actually happy. For Amber.
After school, I went to Six Flags, and for you who don't know what that is-it's the most amazing place for roller coasters ever!!!
Everyone said they were going after school, but we didn't see anyone, besides my friends Matt and David. Shout out for them, they're awesome! :D
So, the pics above (I had issues for some reason trying to move them down last time, so just live with them up there) are all the things I went on.
The scariest was the boss, and you wouldn't think, but it's 1. wooden 2. you get jerked around a lot so you think you're going to fly out 3. there are a million drops, circles, and it's fast.
Mr. Freeze-a shout out to everyone who's been on it-if you've been on Mr. Freeze you are not a roller coaster wimp. It's about 70 mph. One part about coasters that are the creepiest parts, is when you're just sitting in the car waiting for something to happen. In the Freeze, you just burst out really fast. Then, you go straight up, stay there for a second, then fall back down and do everything again backwards. I love it! Only bad thing is that it's super fast, David timed it with his phone, it's 48 seconds.
Ze Tower of Power-now a shout out to Amber, who went on this when she was six-
D:
It's just you climb up slowly, then you drop. I lost my stomach, like it flew up. I didn't throw up LOL it was just a weird feeling.
The screaming eagle-it's basically going up .... and then dropping. It's fun :D but, I never knew why it was called screaming eagle, but I now know. When you go fast, the tracks make a screeeeeeching sound like an eagle's cry.
It's actually a really good name LOL
The ninja-wow, that was wasn't scary. Worst part is that your head jerks around a lot. Another shout out to Sean (Kingston) who I saw there-you're awesome and ghetto!
Xcaliber-it was fun, spinning a lot. You can feel gravity pulling against you. During the ride, their were some technical difficulties, during the ride, with balancing. David was like "OH MY GOD" But I told him they were kidding.
They weren't.
Evel whatever-it was named after some daredevil dude, and it was kind of risky. Wooden, super fast. Really fun, I had my hands up, (they're playin' my song :D)
The batman-with your legs hanging out it just adds to the fun. Upside down, baby!
Well, that's all for today. It's been an amazing day, and now I'm going to drive-in movie night to see my band of four play.
I don't know why. I'm just so happy right now.
Final shout out to Amber again-I love you girl, you'll be a rockstar at the new school!
Lots of Love,
Van

Oh my GOODNESS. And epic pictures!

rawr. Isn't that tight?

Oh my god, what the heck is that???

From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....

Tomorrow is the last day of school, and I'm going to have to tell you about that later.

I mean, I am so happy to be finished with tests and homework, and oh the DRAMA! but there's a little part of me that will miss it

But a little part.

Like Amber switching schools.

So today, we basically cleaned out our homeroom desks and lockers, and tomorrow is basically saying Goodbye school, hello Summer

I used to love it.

Not this year.

I got signed out of school right before lunch, and so I even missed Amber's last lunch with me. So that was kind of sad.

But it's a happy sad feelingof course. I've been over this

~~~~
kay, done with the sadness-here are some random pics of this year! (some above)
is is what chalk does to your pants D: well ... it's all good. Just babysitting my cousins. Like the laces?
beastly right? It's in the city :D
well lol. That's it.
I'm taking a Short Sabbaticle
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
Hi all.
First off: I only have 5 days left of my school. (Can you believe that?? FIVE MORE DAYS!!) To cherish the very last moments with the friends I have there, I'm taking about a week and a half break from blogging.
Second: Since school is over I have to talk about summer. I will be going on Wizard101, and blogging less, because well, it's summer. Would you rather stay in a dark computer room chatting with complete, or be outside swimming, and playing out in the sun with your real life friends.
Ya I know.
Third: Since I'm going to a new school, it'll be challenging. Even though I'm going to love it there, I'm gonna miss all my friends. I'm still gonna keep in touch don't you worry!! But, since there's like double homework, I have to you guessed it blog less, and go on Wizard101 less.
But hey, it's either that or quitting blogging. I'm going with option 1 thank you very much.
So while I'm enjoying my short sabbaticle, have fun blogging, and playing Wizard101.
Cya,
-Amber
P.S. Allan, glad to see you back in the Blogsphere!
I was put in timeout?
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
...interesting day at school.
So we have the Wednesday News, basically paper that no one cares about or reads. Basically we throw it away.
It's given to the youngest or only, so I pick up the papers, and this evil, twisted, ugly, awful, HORRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRIIIIIIIIIIBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBBLE guy Sam says, "Poke," and pokes me in the back
I roll my eyes at him, and my teacher says, "Oh Ms., quit it with the attitude."
So Sam and Ben, who was behind Sam, were like, "Yeahhhhh," and Ben was laughing at me too.
So I was just like, "Shut up, Ben."
And my teacher is like OOOOOO: "DID YOU JUST SAY SHUT UP?!?!" (she's partly kidding)
And I'm like "yeah ..."
And she's like "You have a 12 minute time out!"
Ben was just like, "Now go, sit in the corner."
So I did.
After 12 minutes my teacher was like, "So do you know why you were in trouble?"
Me: "Yes?"
Her: "Now say you're sorry."
Me: "I'm sorry Ben for telling you to shut up?"
Her: "YAY!!"
It was entirely weird.
On a different note, Amber was going into Social Studies as I was coming out, and she was trying to talk to me, and then Mr. Coco blows the whistle. It's soo loud and I was like right next to him so I had a small heart attack.
Whew. It's stressful, I have bad hearing already.
Next, to refer to my comments: Kestrel, it's not really a nerd school, this school Amber wants to go to, but it does have really good academics. And Amber has told me it's actually $14,000.
Big dif, it's still WAY to much money for me to ever attend. So I shall go to my wonderful school.
When I say wonderful I mean it sucks.
~Van~
P.S. Hum ... Hum Hum Hum Hum (teehee!!)
P.P.S. Kestrel get on w101! D:
So Much To Do!!
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
So much to do!
As my friend Kestrel says in her blog 'I'm such a worrywort.'
Yeah, me too.
There's a Latin test on Tuesday, Literature (chapters 8, 9, and 10) and Religion (On a MILLION things) tests on Wed., Latin test on Thursday, Latin (posssiiibbblllyy) and Science on Thursday. Right now, I'm studying for an exam ... it's on everything we've learned from the past 9 months.
So gahhh!!!!! I'm cramming in studing and note taking in all hours possible. It's stressful. I mean, there are only 9 days left in school (for me-SUCKAS)... Don't we deserve a break?
Honestly.
Anyhooo, the end of school-that's something I have to talk about.
I've been waiting 9 months for this-summer couldn't come ANY faster.
But now, I'm actually kind of worried about Summer ...
Amber and I will not be attending the same school after this year.
I know!! When I heard about it, I was devestated. After this year, everything will be different. I knew that before, but I thought it could be a little easier if Amber was there too. But, she's going to a $16,000 school with awesome academics, laptops, swimming pools, and tons of school activities.
Though, of course, I am extremely proud of her.
She made it in-it's fairly hard to get into! You must have a 70% or higher on this test we take in the beginning of the year-I.B.'s-and other testing and interviews to overcome.
This really is the best thing for her, and I couldn't be happier~she's entering a whole new world.
You'll be reading this-and I'm proud of you, girl =] I don't like you talking about it because you know I'll miss you so much!
Anyway, that doesn't mean we won't see each other. During the summer, I'll be very busy with swimming, but that doesn't mean she won't come to my meets, laser tag, etc.
Now away from that subject...it's emotional. LOL
So I'm practicing my own stunts a lot now-using excerise balls for support for back handsprings, chairs for aeirals, (Well, trying). My mom is kind of freaked I will kill myself.
What should I try next?
Ciao.
Or should I say Vale.
Tenure For Dworgyn
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
Ok so here's my Tenure For Dworgyn Speech.
*ahem*
WHY DWORGYN SHOULD HAVE TENURE
By: Amber StarGem
I think Dworgyn should have tenure, because he helped all students with, many things. Without him, we would have to release our "inner darkness" on the Unicorn Statues. Dworgyn, after Malistaire went *POOF* and turned evil, it was up to him to bring all necromancers, and part death people, to death spells, and not letting the school die out.
I mean look out Ambrose, he knows all about Astrael Magic, and he's not saying ANYTHING, about it. While Dworgyn, taught all of us he knows about Death magic, while AMBROSE is Headmaster, and Dworgyn is just an Assistant.
Malistaire's DEAD, for Pete's sake! Shouldn't Dworgyn get death position, now that Malistaire is DEAD?? That's like Moolinda Wu, still being assistant, after Sylvia died. It's not fair right?? No it's not. So why should DEATH, the heart and soul, pretty much of this game, be jipped out of this honor??
I have no very clue.
So,
TENURE FOR DWORGYN NOW!
-Amber
My love for Comic's
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
I was checking my favorite comic book author's website and found this post:
I grew up in San Marino, California. It is a conservative, wealthy suburb of Los Angeles.
It has a lot of rules, or at least did when I grew up there.
For example, when I was there, you could not park on the street overnight (without first calling the police department and getting permission). You could not pump your own gas (the attendant at the station had to pump it for you). You could not blow or wash your leaves into the street.
McDonald’s were not allowed. Nor were movie theatres. And you could get a ticket for jaywalking (as my sister did from a police officer who was hiding in the nearby bushes). I have feared jaywalking ever since.
It is all about preserving status quo.
And it is not a land of surprises.
Fast forward 30 years.
To midnight in Baghdad.
Where I, child of San Marino, am standing outside the palace of Saddam Hussein. The air is warm and still. It is tinged with a hint of smoke.
Next to me is Doonesbury creator Garry Trudeau.
We are hitting a bucket of golf balls into Saddam Hussein’s lake.
“Who gets the balls out of the lake?” I ask the soldier who gave us the bucket.
“We don’t,” she said.
Of course, I think to myself.
In war, no one retrieves the golf balls.
I immediately imagine the island of golf balls that must be forming at the deepest depths of Saddam’s lake. One day it will crest above the surface, like a coral island made of Titleist.
While this is happening outside the palace, cartoonist Mike Peters is inside, looking for someone who can fix our room’s thermostat. He finds a two-star general. The man is in charge of 22,000 soldiers. But we are chilly and we need him to fix our thermostat.
If that’s not far enough from the pristine lawns of San Marino for you, consider this:
Twenty yards to the left of me is editorial cartoonist Mike Ramirez. He has won two Pulitzer Prizes. But he is not drawing that night. No, Mike Ramirez is feeding Cocoa Puffs to Saddam Hussein’s fish.
And these are not normal fish. They are ugly, scary fish. Some appear to be five-feet long. I assume they’re eating golf balls.
One of the soldiers shows us a video of a duck landing on the surface of the lake. A fish ate him. In Baghdad, even the fish are evil.
I hit a long drive.
Watching the golf ball ascend, I see in the distance the faint silhouette of a Blackhawk helicopter. It is firing its guns. It is a deep boom you feel in your rib cage.
I cannot sleep that night. All ten of us cartoonists have to sleep in the same room in five bunk beds. We end up sleeping with the light on, because not one of can remember to turn it off. So I now know the answer to the joke, “How many cartoonists does it take to turn off a light bulb?” It is something more than ten.
I walk outside at 6 a.m. and hit more golf balls. The air is grayish brown.
I’m a long way from San Marino.
And I am not afraid of jaywalking.
This cracked me up. You should check out his blog sometime, it's pretty awesome. Well I got to go to sleep now, because of stupid, stupid, school.
The Story of Bottled Water
From the Myth Master's Team's Desk.....
Here's a little sometin I found, and I think it needs to be HEARD YO!
(whoops it doesn't work,
click here to see it.)
Sad huh?? I showed this to my mom, and she says NO MORE WATER BOTTLES!! Yes!! If everyone sees the badness of plastic water bottles, we can STOP THIS MADNESS!! You see?? In order to save our planet, we MUST live Earth Day Every Day All Year. Got it??
Well, that's pretty much it.
Bye Bye,
-Amber StarGem
P.S. Autumn can we meet at 3:15 central either TODAY, or TOMORROW, by Dworgyn, on Wu area 1??
